Full job description

Fab-Tech (Telford) is a successful, growing sub-contract Sheet Metal / Fabrication company based in Telford.

Duties Include

Setting and operating Trumpf punch machines

Reading and interpreting drawings

Undertake all aspects of creating part drawings

Selecting correct tooling for each job

Working with thin gauge materials typically between 0.7mm to 3.0mm aluminium, stainless steel.

Working to standard operating procedures

Responsible for checking quality of parts produced

Ensure exemplary housekeeping standards to both machine and work area

Perform other duties as required by Supervisor/Manager

Candidate

Experienced CNC Punch Programmer, Setter and Operator, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Experience using Radan software is desirable, although training may be provided to a suitable candidate.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Capable of following processes and producing work that conforms to quality and safety standards.

Good problem-solving skills

Punctual and reliable

Organised

Hours – Day Shift
Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday - 8:00am - 3:00pm
31 days paid holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas shutdown.

SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £15.60 per hour
