Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and proactive Facilities Quality, Project & Training Officer to join our Facilities Management Team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting the delivery of high-quality cleaning and catering services across our community hospitals and mental health sites.
Working closely with Facilities Managers, clinical teams, Infection Prevention and Control colleagues and operational staff, you will help ensure our environments remain clean, safe and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
As a Facilities Quality, Project & Training Officer, you will play a key role in:
Supporting the delivery of quality improvement initiatives across Facilities services.
Conducting audits, reviewing performance data and helping implement action plans.
Delivering training, competency assessments and BICS-related learning programmes.
Supporting projects from scoping and data collection through to implementation and evaluation.
Promoting compliance with national standards, including NHS National Standards of Cleanliness, PLACE and Hospital Food Review requirements.
Working collaboratively with operational, clinical and corporate teams to drive continuous improvement.
Producing reports, analysing data and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Supporting the introduction of new systems, equipment, procedures and service developments.
