Full job description

KCR Solutions are pleased to be partnering with a leading organisation in Newcastle to appoint an Accounting & Financial Reporting Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied and client-facing role where you’ll support a portfolio of international clients while overseeing key finance activities and contributing to the ongoing development of the team and processes.

Our client will welcome applications from qualified, part-qualified, or QBE accountants who are looking to take on a broad, hands-on position within a supportive and flexible working environment.

You will play a central role in delivering high-quality accounting support and ensuring the smooth running of client finance operations, while also providing guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of multinational clients, including those within the technology and pharmaceutical sectors
Deliver management accounts and VAT returns accurately and within deadlines
Support and supervise junior staff responsible for bank reconciliations and ledger postings
Maintain oversight of accounts payable processes, invoicing, and general ledger accuracy
Ensure timely resolution of client queries and smooth delivery of finance services
Develop strong working relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of service quality
Contribute to process improvements, enhancing efficiency across the team

About You

Fully qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE)
Strong experience within management accounts and finance operations
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
A proactive, team-oriented individual with strong communication skills
Able to manage a varied workload and work effectively across multiple clients
Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify improvements and opportunities
