Part-Time Care Navigator Vacancies
£13.10 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Care Navigators to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team at Elmbank Group Practice, Aberdeen.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing excellent patient care and customer service. The successful candidates will play a key role within our Reception team, supporting the needs of our 11,900 patients while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the Practice.
Elmbank Group Practice is a well-established training practice with a dedicated team. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you will help ensure they receive the best possible service by being professional, approachable, efficient, and compassionate at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and empathetic approach to patient care
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a busy environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- A commitment to confidentiality and teamwork
- Previous experience of working with the public, ideally within a healthcare or customer service setting
Main Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Answering and managing patient enquiries both face to face and over the telephone
- Booking and amending patient appointments
- Issuing test results and filing documents within patient records
- Processing prescription requests
- Registering new patients and updating patient information
- Supporting the administration team with a variety of administrative tasks, including photocopying and processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Contributing to the efficient day-to-day running of the practice
Hours Available
We are recruiting for two part-time positions:
Position 1
- Monday to Friday
- 2.00pm to 6.00pm
Position 2
- Monday to Friday
- 9.00am to 1.30pm
Salary
£13.10 per hour
