Forestry & Firewood Operative
Timberheat is looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to join our team.
We are a busy firewood and forestry business supplying quality, locally sourced firewood to customers across the area.
The Role
The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of work, including:
- Firewood processing and preparation
- Forestry and woodland work
- Operating machinery and equipment
- Loading, stacking and handling timber
- Deliveries and assisting with customer orders
- General yard and site work
- Keeping equipment, machinery and work areas clean and tidy
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Reliable and hardworking
- Practical and willing to get stuck in
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-conscious
- A full UK driving licence is preferred
- Experience with forestry, firewood, machinery or plant is an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person

Hours: 40hrs per week - full time part time position also available
