We're growing, which means we're looking for a Bid Writer to join our team. This is a varied role that combines bid writing, and tender coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys writing, being organised, creating engaging content and working across multiple projects.
The Role
Working closely with our Regeneration Director and wider business, you'll coordinate tender submissions from start to finish, ensuring every response is professional, compliant and submitted on time.
No two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, PQQs, SQs, EOIs and ITTs and support Bid/No Bid reviews.
- Coordinate bid programmes and manage submission deadlines.
- Develop and apply win themes and high-quality, compelling tender responses.
- Work with internal and external subject matter experts to gather information to create winning bids.
- Produce clear, persuasive and compliant bid documents.
- Co-ordinate internal reviews prior to submission
- Create and maintain a library of bid content, engaging case studies and supporting information.
- Supporting the creation of graphics, process diagrams and presentation material to enhance bid submissions
- Ensure submissions demonstrate compliance with relevant standards/legislation and meet all client requirements, formatting and deadlines.
- Support the development of templates, style guides and response structures
- Submit tenders via online portals.
- Capture bid feedback and lessons learnt toand continuously improve future submissions.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Directors, Estimating and Operational teams.
- Coordinate information from subject matter experts.
- Manage internal deadlines to ensure high-quality submissions.
- Build strong relationships across the business.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, creative and enjoys both writing and coordinating multiple projects.
Ideally you'll have experience in:
- Bid coordination, bid writing or tender management.
- Producing professional written content.
- Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign.
- Managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Working within construction, refurbishment, fire protection or a related industry (desirable but not essential).
