Full job description

Blood Sciences Support Manager - West Cumberland Hospital - 37.5 hrs per week.

Manage the day-to-day operation, quality, efficiency and scientific provision in Blood Sciences including quality management, I.T. applications, training and health & safety (H&S). Deputise for the Haematology, Transfusion, Biochemistry and Blood Sciences Team managers in their absence.

Provision of a comprehensive service to North Cumbira Intergirated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC).The departments offer core analyses on a frequent basis, processing urgent requests and a variety of specialised tests. The majority of the pathology service is provided on a 24/7 basis. Out of hours cover is delivered via extended working arrangements, on call, or shift patterns according to the urgency and volume of the work.

Enhanced Check: £49.50 + administration cost of £6.50 = £56.00. Deducted from salary over following 4 months or one off payment.
