Full job description

Founded in 1977, DDS Group have been providing trusted and environment-considerate services nationwide. Originally solely a demolition contractor, we have gradually expanded our operations into four divisions: DDS Demolition, DDS Contracting, DDS Reclamation, and DDS Building Supplies.

We are seeking a Bid Writer to lead the preparation and submission of our high-quality, client-focused bids. The ideal candidate will boast strong written and proofreading skills, with a creative flare, and basic understanding of the construction industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Write high-quality winning bids for both projects and frameworks – including sourcing information, coordinating with relevant team members, creating, and submitting bids in line with deadlines.
Review tender documents, ensuring thorough understanding of the project scope, bid requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Manage the bid library, ensuring company documents remain up to date and of high standard.
Support the business development and marketing functions, ensuring consistent brand presence across bids, website, and social media platforms.
Create 3D visual sequences to support our bids (preferred)

About You:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent written English and communication skills
Flexibility to work under varying time pressures
Good knowledge of Adobe Suite
Creativity, and understanding of basic marketing functions, including social media platforms
Knowledge of SketchUp, or equivalent software

Salary will be based on experience
