Full job description

The Littleover Lodge Hotel is a family run 15 bed hotel, bar and restaurant situated in between the villages of Littleover and Findern on the outskirts of Derby.

We pride ourselves in giving all of our customers a quality experience, whether it be an overnight guest or within our modern bar restaurant, offering the best of seasonal fresh produce, the finest of prestige branded beverages and hand crafted cocktails. To be able to do this we need a quality team, as a reception team member you will play a big role in making this happen.

As a reception team member at Littleover lodge hotel, you will be checking in and out hotel guests, completing financial reports ready to forward to accounts, taking bookings for the restaurant, helping with breakfast service assisting guests with a help yourself continental breakfast ,communicating with our Assistant General Manager and up selling to guests to ensure they are offered all of our finest products and services, to ensure that every guest has an unforgettable experience.

The successful candidate will have

- A good understanding of revenue management

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Have the ability to read and react to guest needs

-Excellent team player skills

-The ability to be organised and motivated to see tasks through to completion

-Ability to work alone

-Excellent numeracy skills

This position ideally suits an individual who is a team player with a peoples person personality, who has a passion to ensure every guest has the finest of experiences.

Core hours are Saturday & Sunday Mornings starting as early as 7:00am and finishing at 12pm

Due to the lone working and key holding responsiblities within this role we can only accept applicants that are aged 18 years or over

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: £10.59-£12.71 per hour
