Full job description

The Role:

We’re serious about our coffee — so we’re looking for a passionate barista who can deliver consistently great drinks and bring energy to the front of house. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of coffee and food items, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry while working in a vibrant setting.

Responsibilities:

Preparing high-quality coffee (espresso-based drinks)
Dialling in grinders & maintaining coffee standards
Supporting front-of-house service during busy periods
Keeping the coffee station clean and organised
Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management to ensure smooth daily operations.
Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
To be able to cover preparing brunch, desserts and sandwiches on our chefs days off.

Experience

Previous barista experienceis desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safetystandards is advantageous.
Experience in servingcustomers in a hospitality environment is beneficial.
Basic food preparation skills are preferred.
Good time managementskills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Ability to perform basic mathsaccurately for cash handling purposes. This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your hospitality skills while providing excellent service to our valued customers. We welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow within our team
