GKR Maintenance & Building Co. Ltd is a well-established Building Maintenance company based in South Wales. We are a trusted business established 26+ years with over 85 Operatives undertaking Building Maintenance and refurbishment work for National Retailers, Leisure, Local Authorities and Housing Associations throughout South Wales and South West England.
Clients include: Boots, Costa Coffee, Coventry Building Society, Care UK, Dulux, Holland & Barrett, JD Wetherspoons, Marstons, Medivet, Stonegate Pub Group, Toolstation, Travis Perkins, Valiant Pub Company.
Various Local Authorities and Housing Associations within South Wales.
We are looking for a fully qualified Floor layer to join our team carrying out all aspects of floor laying. Experience of laying vinyl floor is essentials, along with sub floor preparation, cap & cover, safety flooring including welded joints and carpet fitting.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on 39 hrs per week. Overtime available.
Overtime rates will apply at enhanced rate and some out of hours work may be required on occasions.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm
Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm
Hours of Work - Flexible
Holidays: 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays)
A mobile phone, uniform, vehicle and fuel card will be provided for work purposes only. A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Key Skills: We are looking for a fully qualified Floor layer to join our team carrying out all aspects of floor laying. Experience of laying vinyl sheet floor, along with sub floor preparation, cap & cover, safety flooring including welded joints and carpet fitting.
Good paperwork and organisational skills are also essential in this role.
