Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across various accounting functions. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help drive smooth financial processes, contributing to the overall success of our organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Duties

Reconcile transactions in Xero
Assist in processing invoices, expenses, and payment runs accurately and promptly
Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
Support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant reports and documentation
Maintain organised records of financial transactions and supporting documents for audit readiness

Qualifications

Proven experience with Xero is highly desirable
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial services industry standards
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
