About The Role

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid (Blackbushe)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8.30am – 5.30pm)
Job Status: 6 month fixed term contract

Main Purpose of The Role:
To support with the day-to-day processing of supplier / vendor invoices, ensuring that the information provided is accurate, queries are investigated, and payments are processed on time

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge and Experience Required:

Verifying Invoices and credit notes in Action Centre
Processing invoices and credit notes outside of automation
Processing of self-bill invoices
Managing the AP email box ensuring queries are investigated and resolved to agreed timelines
Liaising with Operations, Branches, other BCA companies and suppliers
Statement reconciliation’s
Preparing payment proposals
Posting ad-hoc/dd payments and allocating to invoice
Any ad-hoc duties to support the wider Finance Shared Service teams as required

Basic Experience/Skills Required

Good telephone manner.
Good communication skills.
Good keyboard skills.
Good numeracy skills.
Good Excel Skills
Team Player
Able to meet Deadlines
Flexibility to be able to work extra hours during Month End/Period End if necessary
Previous relevant Accounts Payable experience essential
Previous experience with Self Billing desirable
