We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Manufacturing Engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer at our Wolverhampton site.
Your Role
- You will lead the manufacturing planning & implementation of new products and their associated production facilities and process, working throughout the NPI project/ programme lifecycle from initial design stages through to facility implementation, process validation and full production ramp-up.
- Acting as a key interface across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations , and a key member of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) , you will play a key leadership role in achieving manufacturing programme deliverables & successful project outcomes within a transforming and fast-paced environment.
- Systems Engineering V-model principles, you will define the manufacturing system requirements and influence product design & development through DFx, Lean Manufacturing and APQP methodologies, ensuring robust, scalable and cost-effective manufacturing solutions are defined, verified and achieved.
- You will own the design, development and validation of manufacturing processes, including PFMEA, control plans, process simulation & verification, pilot build validation, and production readiness reviews to ensure a smooth transition into series production
