Full job description

Job Overview

Lodge Lettings & Sales are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Property Inspections Clerk to support our busy Residential Lettings team. This is a Full Time (Part Time considered) role based in our Red Lodge office.

The successful candidate will carry out mid-tenancy and end-of-tenancy property inspections, prepare detailed reports using appropriate software on an app, identify maintenance issues, and liaise with tenants, landlords, and the Property Management team. The role also involves assessing property condition, helping resolve deposit disputes, negotiating fair settlements, and preparing documentation for adjudication where required.

Along with the main role of property inspection clerk the successful candidate will be required to be flexible within the business and undertake general lettings negotiator tasks such as conducting viewings, processing applications and general administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct mid-tenancy and end-of-tenancy inspections.
Produce accurate property condition reports using bespoke software.
Identify maintenance issues and liaise with Property Managers.
Discuss property concerns with tenants and landlords.
Assess fair wear and tear and support deposit dispute resolution.
Negotiate settlements and prepare evidence for adjudication where necessary.
Maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines.
Conduct viewings, process applications and general administrative tasks.

About You

Experience in residential lettings, property inspections, or a similar customer-facing role preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Confident using Microsoft Office and tablet/mobile technology.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence.
Own vehicle for daily travel.

Working Pattern

Full-Time or Part-time, with working days and hours to be agreed.
Competitive pay based on experience and hours worked.

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
