About the role

We're looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team at Reassured.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, delivering excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in keeping colleagues connected and productive, providing hands-on support across hardware, software, networks and business systems.

Working as part of a collaborative IT team, you'll support users across the business, troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, and help ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly with minimal disruption.

What you'll be doing

Providing 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, network and user issues.
Managing support tickets, prioritising incidents and ensuring timely resolution.
Installing, configuring and maintaining laptops, desktops, mobile devices and business applications.
Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues both remotely and on-site.
Supporting users across multiple office locations.
Setting up new starters, user accounts, permissions and access rights.
Assisting with technology rollouts, upgrades and business change projects.
Creating and maintaining support documentation and user guides.
Escalating complex issues where appropriate and following established support processes.
Supporting the wider business with day-to-day IT requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

Experience supporting users within a Windows environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of desktop hardware, operating systems and networks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple issues at once.
A genuine interest in technology and a desire to continue learning and developing.

Nice to have

Experience with Jira or another IT ticketing system.
Understanding of ITIL principles.
Relevant IT certifications or qualifications.
Experience supporting a multi-site business.
