As a Paint Technician, you’ll be tasked with carrying out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles in our new, state-of-the-art workshops. Working with all the latest equipment, you will also be responsible for minor body repair work for vehicles.
To be a Paint Technician, it is essential that you hold a full UK drivers’ licence.
What does the role of Paint Technician involve?
Carry out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, as well as minor body repair work
Prepare paint spraying equipment and bodywork of the car
Maintain and clean equipment, as well as storing the paints in the correct conditions
Managing inventory of paints and equipment
What do you need to succeed as a Paint Technician?
A relevant Body and Paint Maintenance qualification City and Guilds, IMI or BTEC
Experience in painting but not necessarily automotive
Proven experience in vehicle preparation, colour matching and spray painting.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
A full UK driving licence.
