Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny/Babysitter to provide attentive childcare and support to families. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing children, ensuring their safety, and fostering their development. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is a desirable bonus. The position involves engaging children in educational activities, supervising playtime, and assisting with daily tasks related to childcare.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in a safe and nurturing manner
- Plan and organise age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Assist children with homework or educational tasks, including teaching if required
- Sometimes Prepare meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary needs
- Take children to school, activities, or appointments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised environment in the child's living space
- Sometimes Support children's routines, including bathing, dressing, and bedtime preparations
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities and any concerns
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to foster confidence and independence
Requirements
- Proven experience in nannying or babysitting roles involving childcare responsibilities
- If possible Valid driving licence with a clean driving record( optional)
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and safety protocols
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and attentive to children's needs
- Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, or weekends if required
- First aid certification is preferred but not essential; training can be provided if necessary
- Weekly salary payments option available.
