F&I Development Manager - Yorkshire with National Travel Required
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced F&I Development Manager to join Vertu Motors.
Vertu Motors represents more than 30 leading automotive manufacturers across the UK, and our F&I Development team is structured across different divisions and brand portfolios. The successful candidate will support a portfolio of dealerships within the Group, working closely with senior leaders and dealership teams to drive Finance & Insurance performance, capability and consistency.
This is a full-time permanent role offering a £50,000 basic salary with an OTE of £70,000, plus a company car and a range of additional company benefits.
This position involves supporting dealerships across our national network, which stretches from Ayr and the North East, through Derbyshire, the Midlands, London and Kent, and down to Bristol, Devon and Exeter.
As a result, regular national travel is a fundamental part of the role and flexibility is essential. You should be comfortable spending significant time out in our dealerships, with frequent overnight stays required depending on business needs.
Working closely with the senior management team, you will agree and measure performance against Finance & Insurance plans and play an instrumental role in improving performance across your division.
You will identify coaching and training requirements, ensure a consistent and effective sales process is embedded across dealerships and work alongside senior managers to improve both sales and F&I performance.
You will also provide focused support to dealerships requiring additional development, using your experience to understand performance gaps, influence teams and implement practical actions that deliver sustainable results.
You may currently be an experienced F&I Manager, or an accomplished Sales Manager or Business Manager looking to take the next step in your career.
You will be results-orientated with a strong track record of achievement and will bring excellent planning, organisational and communication skills. Crucially, you will be confident building relationships, influencing, coaching and motivating colleagues at all levels of the business.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A proven track record of driving and exceeding performance
- A collaborative and engaging coaching style that gains buy-in from dealership teams
- A genuine passion for developing people and improving performance
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
- The ability to challenge constructively and work effectively with senior stakeholders
- Excellent organisation and planning skills across a geographically dispersed portfolio
- Flexibility to travel nationally and undertake frequent overnight stays
