Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries effectively
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and process payments
- Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the sales floor and display areas
- Restock shelves and ensure products are correctly labelled and priced
- Promote special offers, discounts, and new products to maximise sales opportunities
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and stock replenishment
- Uphold company policies regarding customer service standards and health & safety regulations
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy periods
- Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
