Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, 40 hours per week (30 minute unpaid lunch). Full-time, permanent, based at Unit 21 Burnett Business Park, Keynsham, Bristol BS31 2ED.
About the role
Evoke Supplies is opening a new branch in Keynsham and we need a practical, hands-on person to help us set it up and then keep it running day to day. In the first few weeks that mean assembling racking, laying out the warehouse and getting our stock in and on the shelves. Once we are up and running, the job settles into deliveries to customers around Bristol, Bath and Somerset, picking and packing, and keeping our stock accurate and well organised.
This is a varied role for someone who likes being on their feet, is happy behind the wheel and takes pride in a tidy, well run warehouse. You will have a real say in how the space is set out, and you will see the results of your work every day.

Evoke Supplies Limited is a privately owned distributor of engineering spares and consumables: bearings, seals, conveyor belting, fasteners, tools and the everyday parts that keep factories and plant running. We supply manufacturers, maintenance engineers and resellers across the UK, offer same-day dispatch on stock lines and a 24/7 callout service, and hold ISO 9001. We have grown steadily since 2004 and now have several branches; Keynsham is the newest. You will be joining a small team where everyone mucks in and your work is noticed.
What you will be doing
- Delivering orders to customers in a company van, loading and unloading safely and keeping the vehicle clean and checked
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and on time
- Booking in deliveries, keeping stock records up to date and carrying out regular stock counts
- In the early stages: assembling racking and shelving, setting out the warehouse layout and getting the initial stock in and put away
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised, and flagging anything that needs fixing
- Helping out with other practical tasks as the business grows
What we are looking for
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, held for at least 2 years, and able to be insured on our company van
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and carrying (up to 25kg) and being on your feet all day
- Practical and handy: happy assembling racking and using basic hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual and able to work on your own initiative
- Basic computer skills for updating stock records
Nice to have:
- Experience in a warehouse, stores or multi-drop delivery role
- Counterbalance forklift licence
- Experience setting up racking or fitting out a workspace
- Good knowledge of the roads around Bristol, Bath and Somerset
