The Role:
- Support the care, learning, and development of children aged 0–5 years.
- Assist in delivering engaging play-based activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
- Encourage children's independence, confidence, and social development.
- Support daily routines including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor learning.
- Observe children's development and contribute to individual learning records.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
What We're Looking For:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or a related subject.
- Previous experience within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting is desirable.
- A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
