Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant food and beverage team as Food Runners and Bar Assistants. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest service in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant settings is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests at the bar and dining area
- Assist with food delivery from the kitchen to tables, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Support bar operations by preparing drinks and assisting with bar setup and breakdown
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including clearing tables and replenishing supplies
- Provide friendly and attentive guest service, addressing any enquiries or special requests with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure seamless service
- Handle phone etiquette professionally when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries
- Assist in basic food preparation or meal assembly as needed, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Requirements
must be a minimum18 years old
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar operations is preferred; experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly guest interaction and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices within a hospitality setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business needs
- A positive attitude with excellent organisational skills and teamwork spirit
- Basic knowledge of cocktail making or barista skills is advantageous but not essential
- Experience as a delivery driver or in hotel services can be beneficial for certain operational tasks
