The Greenhouse Tearoom within Vertigrow garden centre.
We are looking for Waiting staff to join our small and friendly team
- The Greenhouse tearoom is a garden centre café that serves barista coffees, homemade bread and cakes, breakfast and a seasonal lunch menu in a relaxed atmosphere.
This job role includes:
- Being friendly, presentable, reliable and positive.
- Coping under pressure.
- Be able to work well in a team as well as alone.
- Be able to think on your feet.
- Maintaining high standard of cleanliness in the tearoom.
- Helping with kitchen duties.
- Taking orders efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to easily and quickly handle cash and card payments.
- Greeting and seating customers.
- Making and serving a range of drinks.
- Running food and clearing tables.
Equal share of tips, zero hour contract, variety of shift patterns offered, weekly pay, weekend availability is essential.
Also opportunities for students at weekends.
Start ASAP.
Own transport is essential as we are not on a bus route.
Temporary position until December, with an option to recommence employment in February 2027.
