Self-Employed Chauffeur Driver Job Summary
Legend Chauffeurs is looking for a reliable, punctual and professional chauffeur driver to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing an excellent level of service and understands the importance of punctuality, professionalism and customer care.
This is a full-time position operating on a 6-day-per-week schedule, with 12-hour shifts. The successful candidate must therefore be dependable, flexible and committed to maintaining a consistently high standard of service.
You will be responsible for transporting clients safely and comfortably in a company-provided vehicle, completing a variety of journeys including airport transfers, corporate travel, long-distance journeys and other pre-booked chauffeur services.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and professionally transport clients to their required destinations
- Work a 12-hour shift pattern, 6 days per week
- Arrive on time and be ready for all allocated bookings and journeys
- Provide a polite, professional and welcoming service to every passenger
- Assist passengers with luggage where required
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, presentable and ready for service at all times
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and promptly report any faults or concerns
- Follow all allocated bookings and instructions provided by the operations team
- Use GPS and navigation systems effectively to plan routes and avoid unnecessary delays
- Monitor traffic conditions and allow sufficient travel time for each journey
- Maintain clear communication with the operations team regarding bookings, delays or any issues
- Follow all road traffic laws, licensing requirements and company procedures
- Represent Legend Chauffeurs professionally at all times
What We Are Looking For

We require someone who can be trusted to attend every scheduled shift, arrive on time and complete allocated bookings professionally.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly reliable and punctual
- Have previous professional driving, private hire or chauffeur experience
- Hold the appropriate licence required to undertake private hire/chauffeur work
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be smart, professional and well presented
- Be comfortable working 12-hour shifts and 6 days per week
- Be confident driving both locally and on long-distance journeys
- Have good knowledge of London, Heathrow Airport and the surrounding areas
- Be comfortable using GPS and navigation applications
- Take care of the company vehicle and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Remain calm, polite and professional when dealing with passengers
- Be flexible, as working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and airport journeys
