We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and results-driven Lead Generator / Business Development Executive to fuel our sales pipeline and manage key prospect relationships. In this role, you will be the bridge between initial contact and closed deals. You will be responsible for managing and nurturing high-value leads within our CRM, executing targeted outreach, booking high-impact meetings, and preparing the essential presentation and quotation materials that win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- CRM & Lead Management: Maintain absolute data integrity within our CRM. Track, segment, and meticulously manage key leads through the sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate pipeline reporting.
- Prospecting & Meeting Booking: Proactively identify and engage with new potential prospects via email, phone, and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn). Successfully book qualifying meetings and product demonstrations for the senior sales team.
- Collateral & Presentation Preparation: Draft, refine, and organize business development-related materials, including tailored pitch decks, capability statements, and promotional content to capture prospect interest.
- Quotations & Proposals: Coordinate and arrange accurate pricing quotations and commercial proposals for prospective clients, ensuring they align with company standards and client requirements.
- Relationship Building: Act as the professional first point of contact for new prospects, establishing rapport and understanding their pain points to position our solutions effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a lead generation, inside sales, or business development role (B2B experience preferred).
- CRM Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience managing leads, tasks, and pipelines within a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft compelling outreach messages and professional business proposals.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple leads, prep materials, and meet deadlines simultaneously.
- Commercial Acumen: Comfort working with numbers to arrange basic quotations and pricing structures.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Excel) or Google Workspace for creating presentations and tracking data.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
