Castle Removals Lancaster & Morecambe are looking for reliable, hardworking removals drivers / porters to join our growing team.
This role involves working on residential and commercial moves across Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham and surrounding areas. Some longer-distance jobs may be required from time to time.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is physically fit, punctual and takes pride in doing a job properly.
Responsibilities
Loading and unloading furniture and household goods
Safe driving of vans (for driver roles)
Protecting furniture using padded blankets, covers and straps
Working as part of a team on removal jobs
Providing polite, professional customer service
Following instructions and working efficiently on site
Requirements
Full UK driving licence (for driver roles)
Physically fit – heavy lifting involved
Reliable and punctual
Good attitude and team player
Removals experience preferred but not essential (training provided)
Pay & Hours
£12.00 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience and role)
Flexible hours (6–40 hours per week depending on workload)
Overtime available during busy periods
Local and long-distance work available
