Overview
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have experience operating excavators in a commercial environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on site. Candidates must hold relevant CPCS or NPORS and demonstrate a commitment to high standards of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently across various construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, loading, and material handling tasks.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any machinery issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a commercial setting.
- Mechanical knowledge of excavator systems and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Valid licences for operating heavy machinery, including a CPCS or NPORS training.
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adhere to strict safety protocols. This role is vital for the successful completion of construction projects, requiring professionalism, technical competence, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
Pay: £22.00-£25.00 per hour
