Hours: Full-Time (Mon-Fri)
We are looking for a Delivery Van Driver to join our team. You’ll be working within our Group Parts Operations based in East Kilbride assisting with deliveries to our customers. This role is based on a basic 40hr hour week working Monday – Friday, starting at 08.00am.
About the role:
As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will provide an efficient delivery and collection service to our trade parts customers. You will also be required to assist with light warehouse duties.
Duties include:
✔ Check the orders for delivery to be correct against the delivery paperwork before departure
✔ Manually load your assigned vehicle with orders to be delivered
✔ Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
✔ Ensure goods are delivered or collected to/from our commercial customers safely, efficiently and on time
✔ Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit
✔ Complete all documentation as per company procedure
✔ Adhere to company procedures and policies
✔ Hold a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 3 years

✔ Have great communication skills and the drive to succeed

✔ Be able to cope with a variety of customer demands and deliver exceptional levels of customer satisfaction
✔ Be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy to ensure that all relevant checks and paperwork are completed for each collection or delivery
✔ Be able to prioritise and manage time effectively
✔ Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
✔ Hold a full clean driving licence (essential)
✔ Have previous courier experience (preferable but non-essential)
✔ Have an understanding of the local area
