We are seeking a skilled Painters & Decorators to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for extensive preparation works, applying paint, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces. Applicants should possess good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Interpret specifications to achieve desired aesthetic results.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate work schedules and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist in colour matching and selecting appropriate materials for each project.
Experience
- Proven experience in painting or decorating is essential.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous
- Good spoken English with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues, is advantageous.
- Experience working on diverse projects, from residential to commercial properties, is advantageous.
- Ability to read colour charts accurately. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to work full time with an industry leading company within the decorating industry, while delivering exceptional results on every project undertaken.

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £18.50-£35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
