Experienced Site Fitter & Stainless Steel Welder
We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Fitter and Stainless Steel Tig Welder to join our site teams, installing Structural and Bespoke metalwork items such as Balconies, Balustrades, Railings and Staircases. Working with both Mild and Stainless Steel.
Applicants must be experienced in reading drawings, site installation and TIG welding.
Brief Job Description:
- Site installation in various aspects of metalwork.
- Understand fabrication drawings.
- Demonstrate a high level of Health & Safety awareness with site installation.
- To carry out stainless steel TIG welding.
- Willingness to commute from our base yard near Peterborough to our project sites often in the Greater London area, each day.
- Ability to polish stainless steel, training can be given if required.
- Operate safety equipment and use safe working habits at all times.
- other duties appropriate to the level of this role.
Requirements:
- CSCS labourer card as minimum.
- Good communication within working teams.
- Produce accurate work, sufficient for client sign off.
- Manual Handling, PASMA, IPAF, Harness training, Abrasive wheels would be an advantage, however, training will be given.
