About Us
Founded in 1909, Rushcliffe Golf Club is a well-established members’ club set in picturesque rolling countryside, offering stunning views across south Nottinghamshire. The club boasts an 18-hole course and a busy, welcoming clubhouse serving members, visitors, and a wide range of private functions.
Our clubhouse is at the heart of the club, providing good-quality food from our bar menu and drink throughout the day. Famous for our ever-popular Sunday Carvery, the clubhouse also caters for events including weddings, celebrations of life, and social gatherings.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen and continue delivering our food offering. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys delivering good-quality meals while managing a busy and varied service.
You will be responsible for daily clubhouse dining as well as catering for functions across multiple lounges and event spaces. You will maintain our 5 star food hygiene rating and meet financial targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all day-to-day kitchen operations with the team
- Ensure full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Cater for events ranging from small gatherings to large functions (up to 130 guests)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements
- Level two Food Hygiene Certification
- Capable of working alone & as part of a team
- Organisational skills

- Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and events
- A passion for food and a willingness to learn
Desirable skills and experience
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Culinary qualification or working towards one
