The Role
- Produce a range of artisan breads, pastries and baked goods following recipe cards and quality standards
- Mix, knead, shape, prove and bake – ensuring consistency, precision and creativity
- Monitor oven temperatures, dough development and baking times to deliver perfect results
- Maintain clean, organised workspaces and uphold the highest food hygiene and safety standards
- Work closely with the Head Baker.
- Contribute to new recipe ideas and seasonal specials
- Early starts giving you the day time off. Working 5 early mornings per week with the weekend off
About you
- Previous experience as a Baker, Bread Baker or Pastry Baker (minimum 1 year)
- Strong practical skills in dough handling, shaping and baking
- A genuine passion for artisan baking and craftsmanship
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, CCPs and kitchen safety
- Reliable, organised and ready to work early shifts
- A team player with the energy, ambition and drive to grow into a senior role
- Must have own transport unless you live within walking distance
