Location: The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre, Bardon Mill
Contract: Casual / Zero Hours
Salary: £13.47 - £14.13 per hour

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our casual team as Sill Supervisors, providing cover for holidays and events.
About the role
As a Casual Sill Supervisor, you'll support the day-to-day running of The Sill, leading the Visitor Welcome Team and Café Team and helping to deliver an exceptional experience for every visitor.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the Visitor Welcome, Retail and Café teams.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and handling customer enquiries.
- Supporting the delivery of events, including evenings, bank holidays and weekends when required.
- Opening and closing the building and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
- Supporting retail and café operations, including cash handling, EPOS and banking.
- Maintaining high standards across the visitor centre, shop and café.
- Sharing information about Northumberland National Park and helping visitors make the most of their visit.
About you
You'll have:
- Previous supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, tourism or another customer-facing environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence leading a small team and making decisions.
- Good IT and cash-handling skills.
- A flexible approach to work, with availability for weekends, bank holidays and occasional evenings.
- A positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable visitor experiences.
