We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to elderly residents in a care home setting. You will be responsible for supporting residents with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Supervise junior staff members and provide guidance on best practices in senior care.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' health and progress.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Drive to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation for residents.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in senior care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a senior care or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on supervising and mentoring team members.
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents and their families.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to seniors is essential.
