Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to oversee access and maintain safety at our beach venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of patrons and staff, monitoring the premises through surveillance systems, and providing assistance in emergency situations. This role requires a confident individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all visitors. Responsibilities
- Manage entry points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access to the premises.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the venue.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and intervening in suspicious behaviour.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances or unauthorised access.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid if necessary.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently and professionally.
- Assist visitors with enquiries, ensuring they feel welcomed and safe throughout their visit.
- Document incidents accurately and report any concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
- Experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- First aid certification or willingness to undertake training is preferred.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly when required.
- A professional demeanour with a proactive approach to safety and security matters.
