Mould cleaner and Painter
The Mould Remediation Specialist and Painter is a multifaceted role responsible for addressing mould issues and applying paint finishes to surfaces. This position requires mould identification and remediation, as well as proficiency in painting techniques to ensure a visually appealing and durable finish.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and assess the extent of mould contamination.
- Prepare work areas by sealing off affected spaces and implementing protective measures.
- Safely remove black mould using appropriate cleaning agents, disinfectants, and specialised equipment.
- Dispose of contaminated materials according to established protocols and regulations.
- Report environmental conditions to prevent mould recurrence.
Painting
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Ensure even application of paint and proper drying times between coats.
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter and drips during the painting process.
- Repaint surfaces as needed, addressing any imperfections.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment after use.
General Requirements:
- Proven experience in painting in residential or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
- Physical fitness and ability to wear protective gear during mould remediation and painting tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
