Job Title: University Placement – Multi- Disciplinary Business Role (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Global Shipping)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic university student to join our team for a one-year placement. During your placement you will have the opportunity to work in a range of areas including marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and logistics. You will be exposed to different departments, projects, and responsibilities, allowing you to explore your strengths and interests while gaining valuable insight into various aspects of our business. Responsibilities:
· Marketing Assistance: Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional materials, update social media channels, and support marketing campaigns.
· Customer Service: respond to customer enquiries, provide product information, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Global shipping Co-ordination: Assist in coordinating international shipping activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and tracking shipments.
· Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, such as data entry, filing and maintaining records.
Employer’s Commitments:
· Workplace Induction: Provide a comprehensive workplace induction during the first week of placement to familiarise the student with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
· Mentorship: Assign dedicated mentors within departments to guide and support the student’s professional development throughout the placement period, helping them navigate the workplace environment effectively.
· Skills development: Offer opportunities for the student to acquire the key skills, knowledge, and experiences relevant to the role, promoting personal growth and learning.
· Academic Consultation: Collaborate with an academic supervisor to ensure a well-rounded learning experience, including at least one tripartite meeting between the student, academic supervisor, and placement provider.
· Personal Development: facilitate the completion of a personal development portfolio, engaging in timely development discussions.
· Performance Evaluation: Provide regular feedback and evaluation including performance review process.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Currently enrolled as a 3rd year university student (preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or logistics).
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong organisational time management abilities.
· Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
· Customer focused mindset with the ability to deliver exceptional service.
· A proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
· Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
