Founded to provide seamless support for smarter property management, TMS helps businesses navigate staffing pressures, operational challenges and periods of change by providing experienced property professionals on an interim basis when they’re needed most.
As part of our continued expansion, we’re looking for experienced Team Leaders to join our team of Support Managers. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced property professionals who enjoy developing people, improving performance and supporting teams to deliver excellent service.
As a TMS Support Manager, you'll be able to choose the assignments you work, giving you real variety in your career. Assignments vary in length, allowing you to take on consecutive assignments if you’re looking for consistent, full-time work, or select opportunities that fit around your existing commitments if you prefer a more flexible approach.
Unlike many traditional property management leadership roles, all of our assignments are fully home based.
About the Roles
As a Team Leader on assignment with TMS, you will provide leadership and operational support to teams within our client’s businesses, helping them maintain high standards, improve performance and deliver effective service.
You will work remotely, supporting Block Managers through coaching, communication and performance management. Rather than managing a property portfolio, your focus will be on people – helping individuals develop, stay engaged and perform at their best to achieve business objectives.
This is a mindset shift, as although you’re operating as a Team Leader, you are a supplier and your client is the Managing Agent or business you’re providing the assignment support to.
The role is ideal for an experienced Team Leader or property professional who enjoys motivating others, solving problems and making a positive impact on how teams operate. It also suits professionals looking for more variety in their workload, with the opportunity to support different businesses, teams and operational environments.
Key responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Leading, supporting and motivating teams to achieve operational objectives
- Providing regular guidance, coaching and feedback to team members
- Supporting team performance, development and continuous improvement
- Acting as a point of contact for team members, helping resolve challenges and remove barriers
- Monitoring workloads and supporting effective allocation of tasks
- Supporting onboarding and integration of new team members where appropriate
- Helping establish clear expectations, accountability and consistent service standards
- Providing updates and reporting to clients on team performance and progress
- Supporting businesses through periods of change, transition or increased workload
- Taking ownership of any escalations that require senior management involvement, ensuring issues are resolved effectively, communicated clearly and handled in line with client expectations
