Warehouse Operations Coordinator
Location: Potters Bar, Herts, EN6 3JN.
Salary: £29,000–£32,500, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hour week, 08.00 - 16:30, Monday-Friday.
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
About the role
Tesora Technology Services is looking for an experienced, hands-on warehouse professional to support daily operations and help improve warehouse organisation, safety, stock accuracy and efficiency.
This role combines practical warehouse duties, including reach-truck operation, with responsibility for supporting colleagues and identifying improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, store, pick, pack and dispatch equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records and storage locations.
- Support stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
- Improve warehouse layout, labelling and organisation.
- Identify inefficiencies, recurring errors and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and quality.
- Help document and implement warehouse procedures.
- Support and guide warehouse colleagues.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and wider logistics team.
Experience and skills
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience.
- Practical reach-truck experience and appropriate training.
- Experience with stock control and inventory systems.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety.
- The confidence to suggest and implement improvements.
- Experience supporting or guiding colleagues.
- Basic IT skills.
- A practical, reliable and hands-on approach.
Experience in a senior operative, lead operative or team leader position would be beneficial.
