Job Description:
As a Preschool Bank Staff member, you will provide essential support to our dedicated team of educators. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for flexibility and variety, as you may be called upon to cover staff absences, assist in daily activities, and provide care to children across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the lead staff in the delivery of the preschool curriculum and activities.
Assist with the supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Encourage children's development through play and guided activities.
Follow preschool policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols.
Assist with daily routines, including meals, nap times, and transitions.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.
Skills and Experience Required:
Experience working with young children .
A passion for early childhood education and care.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a busy, ever-changing environment.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Paediatric First Aid qualification (Desirable).
