SR Drivers are currently recruiting reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Drivers on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics client based in Ely, Cambridgeshire (CB7).

- £14.00 per hour PAYE (holiday accrued separately)

The Role
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving a 7.5 tonne (Category C1) flatbed vehicle
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customer locations
- Planning routes to ensure on-time deliveries
- Securing loads safely before transport
- Completing daily vehicle safety inspections
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required
- Completing delivery paperwork and proof of delivery accurately
- Reporting vehicle defects or transport issues promptly
- Providing excellent customer service while representing SR Drivers and our client
- Complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and all road traffic legislation

Driver Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5 tonne vehicle
- Flatbed vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- No major driving endorsements
