We'd love to hear from you.

About Us:
Melrose House is a 9 Bedroomed residential assisted living home, located in the fishing village of Cullercoats. The property has magnificent views of Cullercoats Bay and Tynemouth Longsands.
We are a small welcoming home that offers communal living and dining rooms in which residents can relax and socialise. We have outdoor spaces to both the front and rear of the building, with the front garden a very popular spot for residents to sit and watch the world go by.
Comfort is the key when it comes to the resident’s private rooms and we encourage residents to bring their own furniture where possible, as this helps make the room feel more like their own home.
Daily life at Melrose is a real family affair, indeed, Melrose management and staff pride themselves in creating a family atmosphere, encouraging residents to socialise, whether that’s chatting over a cuppa, playing a game of dominoes, or dining with each other,
And with an abundance of places to visit locally, we are never short of options when it comes to taking our residents out, whether that’s on a 1-2-1 one basis or as a group.
And of course, we also accompany our residents if they need to visit the hairdressers, join a local group, or attend a doctor’s appointment.
