As a Waitress or Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during preparation and service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing help where needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
- Familiarity with food preparation processes and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and processing payments effectively.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
