The Opportunity
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you'll play an important role in supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of our colleagues. Working within our Occupational Health team, you'll provide expert advice, case management, health surveillance and wellbeing support, helping people stay healthy, safe and productive at work. You'll work closely with managers, HR, Health & Safety teams and healthcare professionals, supporting EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain by ensuring our people receive the highest standard of occupational health support.
You'll join us on a salary starting from £45,000 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at #Doxford, with a hybrid way of working. You'll spend a minimum of three days per week on site, alongside up to two days per week working from home, giving you the flexibility to balance collaboration and focused work.
Joining a team of experienced Occupational Health professionals, you'll have opportunities to develop your expertise through ongoing learning, technical supervision, clinical supervision, peer networking and continuous professional development. From complex case management to wellbeing initiatives and health surveillance programmes, you'll have the chance to influence outcomes that matter to both our people and our business.
Who You Are
We're looking for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor who enjoys building trusted relationships, solving problems and delivering high-quality occupational health support. You'll be confident working independently while collaborating with a wider multidisciplinary team. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health

Proven Occupational Health experience, ideally with at least three years post-qualification experience

Experience working on case management as well as health and well-being activities

Experience delivering occupational health assessments and health surveillance

Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation, confidentiality and professional standards

Experience providing advice to managers on sickness absence, rehabilitation and return-to-work cases

Ability to work on site in #Doxford a minimum of three days per week
What You'll Be Doing

Managing occupational health casework, including sickness absence, rehabilitation and return-to-work support

Delivering health surveillance, health screening and fitness-for-work assessments

Providing expert occupational health advice to managers, HR and employees

Supporting wellbeing initiatives, health promotion campaigns and mental wellbeing programmes

Working with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high standards of clinical governance and service quality
