Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic maths calculations for billing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Uphold the establishment's standards of hospitality, creating a friendly and inviting environment for all patrons.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to the preparation and serving of beverages.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
