About the role
Citizens Advice West Berkshire is looking to recruit a Generalist Adviser / Caseworker to join our advice team of specialist caseworkers and generalist advisers.
You will provide advice and casework to clients on a range of issues, including welfare benefits, housing, employment and other areas. You will also use IT systems to maintain accurate case records and ensure continuity of casework.
The role will include outreach work at different locations across West Berkshire. You will therefore need a full driving licence, access to a car and appropriate business-use insurance.
Contract type: Fixed term until 31 March 2027, with a possible extension of up to two years depending on funding.
Experience and training
Training will be available to support continuous learning. We are willing to consider applicants with generalist advice experience or other relevant advice experience.
