1:1 SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Mylnhurst Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful pupil in lower Key Stage Two
This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to build a meaningful and supportive relationship with a child who benefits from personalised support throughout her school day.
The successful candidate will be patient, nurturing and committed. They will have experience supporting children with additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the pupil, class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to help her to achieve her full potential both academically and personally.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing tailored 1:1 support to meet the pupil’s individual needs
Adapting teaching activities and resources to support learning and engagement
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive relationships
Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the pupil
