IASME is looking for a Cyber Quality Assurance Moderator to play a key role in maintaining the quality, consistency, and integrity of our Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.
In this role, you’ll conduct moderations, support assessors with constructive feedback, spot emerging trends, and help ensure decisions are fair, evidence-based, and aligned with scheme standards. Key responsibilities
- Carry out moderations for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.
- Provide feedback to Assessors via support tickets and verbal communication as required.
- Identify trends within moderations and highlight these during team meetings.
- Provide support to the Certification Technical Team regarding the marking of Cyber Essentials assessments.
- Adjudicate where necessary when an applicant challenges assessor marking.
- Identify and uphold all relevant quality standards and actively participate in the organisation’s quality assurance process.
These responsibilities may be expanded or varied as required by the business.
Essential competencies
- Experience of providing consultancy and assessing certification schemes.
- Extensive knowledge of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
- Cyber Essentials assessor experience, either:
- 5 years as a Cyber Essentials Assessor, or
- 2 years as a Cyber Essentials Assessor plus CompTIA Network+ certification.
- Understanding of how systems and networks are used within organisations.
- Good knowledge of end-user device operating systems including macOS, Microsoft, ChromeOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including handling calls with assessors and applicants, addressing questions and challenges professionally and positively.
- Willingness to learn and develop in the role.
- Ability to work under own supervision to effectively time manage and meet deadlines.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
