Job Summary
World Famous Dive Bars are looking for genuine, professional and customer-focused SIA Door Supervisors to join our security team across our venues within Bristol City Centre.
We have regular work available up to 7 nights per week, with shifts generally between 21:00 and 04:00.
We’re not looking for people who just want to stand on a door. We want good communicators who understand that security is also about customer service, welfare and creating a safe environment for everyone.
Our venues attract a very diverse and inclusive crowd, as well as a wide range of events and communities. You’ll need to be comfortable working with people from all backgrounds and treating everyone with the same level of respect, without judgement.
What we're looking for:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional and approachable attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Confident dealing with difficult situations without unnecessarily escalating them
- Comfortable working with a diverse customer base
- Willing to work across different venues and event types
- Able to work as part of the venue team, not separately from it
Previous experience is useful, but attitude and suitability for our venues are just as important.
There are opportunities for regular weekly work, from a couple of nights through to more consistent hours depending on availability.
